What We Export

Contract flexibility ranges from single-container orders (approximately 19 metric tons) to multi-lot seasonal programs, with micro-lots available from 5 bags (300 kg) for select origins.

Our Sourcing and Quality Standards

Quality begins at cherry selection. Our sourcing team visits origin during harvest to evaluate ripeness standards, processing infrastructure, and drying protocols at each partner station. At our Addis Ababa facility, every lot undergoes physical grading (screen size, moisture, defect count) and sensory evaluation using the SCA cupping protocol. We reject lots that fall below our internal quality threshold — even when they meet ECX Grade 1 classification — because our reputation as an Ethiopian coffee exporter depends on delivering excellence in every bag.

Traceability and Regulatory Compliance

Full supply chain traceability is foundational to PyraBrew's operations. Every exported lot is traceable to the specific washing station or farm with GPS polygon mapping, harvest dates, and chain-of-custody documentation. This ensures compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which requires European importers to verify that coffee commodities are deforestation-free. Export Logistics

PyraBrew manages the complete export process: GrainPro-lined packing, dry port loading in Addis Ababa, and ocean freight via Djibouti to destination ports across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East.
